Weddings in the Parish of Farlington

We usually perform about twelve weddings a year in the parish; some couples prefer to marry in St. Andrew's church, others prefer the Church of the Resurrection. There are some images of the churches on the site. Amongst the downloadable documents on this site is an information pack about marrying in the parish, it will probably answer many of your initial questions.

We often get asked who is eligible to get married in the parish churches; the short answer is those who are resident in the parish or those who are on the electoral roll of the church. Please contact the Rector is you have any questions about the residency issues: a map with the parish boundaries in also viewable to help.

Weddings are a real feat of co-ordination with reception venue, flowers, wedding cars, honeymoon... so please remember that the church also has to be booked well in advance. Talk to us ahead of time and avoid a conflict with your dates!

To be eligible for marriage. At least you or your partner should be a member of the parish and should be living within the Parish borders which is indicated by this map.
