What next?

Many of the changes made so far or the things we are reviewing with a view to change may not be obvious but a lot of the work being done we will aim to share so you can get an idea of what we are doing. Look out for notes in the weekly pew sheet and on this page of the website. If you are interested in getting involved we have more ideas than we have people to implement them so do get in touch with any member of the Eco Church team.

Hopes and challenges for 2025

  • To gain our A Rocha Gold Award.
  • Engage with more people across the parish as we seek to embed creation care throughout the whole parish life.
  • To recruit others who are willing to ‘champion’ the other areas of the Eco Church programme
  • Create meaningful and active links with other local eco initiatives happening in and around our community.
  • Manage the garden area at the side of the Church of the Resurrection, by adding more shrubs and a gravel bed and developing the wild flower bed.
  • Install bird boxes in St Andrew’s grounds.
